"The Art of Emotion show is about evoking emotions in the viewer and
letting them figure out why they prefer one piece to another," Goodman
said,. "My pet portraits capture the subject's soulfulness and personality;
a recurring theme in my figure studies is to depict those single moments
in a woman's life that showcase her strength and beauty, even in times of
despair. I want the nudes to tell a story and the viewer to figure out what
that story is."
